Awesome experience. I was so nervous about using a third-party service for my cats Kiki and Archie. Up to this point, I had relied on family and friends to pitch in when I was away from home. But with an upcoming week-long vacation, I felt that I had used up all of my favors. My cat Archie is a rescue off the street and his reactions to new people really made me worry. I spoke about his background and habits candidly in my consultation with Maria and Dolf. They did not seem spooked at all! I loved receiving the updates while I was away, and I felt that my cats were receiving the best care possible in my absence. I would 100% recommend their services to my neighbors, family and friends. My husband and I have struggled to find someone to watch our dogs and have limited our travel because of this. Alexandria pet care gives us peace of mind. They give a detailed report with each visit including pictures. They walk feed play and give medications to my grumpy old boy. Cannot recommend them enough.

We had our first experience with Alexandria Pet Care and we can't recommend them enough! They checked in on our cat, Tigger, while we were away. We LOVE APC! I am always impressed by APC’s level of attention and care for my sweet senior pups. We recently lost one of our dogs from a heart mass and APC was so kind and gracious - sending a donation in Lucy’s honor to our local shelter and sending a handwritten condolence card. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! Not many places come for rat visits! Our pet rats were so well taken care of. Mac was amazing with them and she seemed to genuinely love rats. We got messages and pictures every visit. It got a little pricey because they needed to come twice a day to give one of our rats antibiotics, but it was money well spent.

They have a zoom call with you where you get to meet the dog walkers in advance where they introduce themselves to you. This is a standard that I would recommend for all pet care services. They knew me and my dog in advance. They showed how much they care. I have had many dog walkers over the years with my 7 dogs. They were dependable, responsive, understanding, caring and professional.

Alexandria Pet Care is the top-notch standard all pet care businesses should be measured against! I picked them based on reviews here on Yelp, and was absolutely blown away by their professionalism, attention to detail, knowledge, and business operation. Communication with the team is impeccable. I was impressed by the intake interview, it was clear each member was experienced with all types of pets, as well as the area. They asked all the right questions, and were clearly paying attention to instructions.
The pet portal website they use is great for making sure you can leave instructions and information, contact info, etc. It is easy to use, access, and understand. It was extremely easy to schedule a visit and pay the invoice afterwards.
I took a business trip and was highly impressed. The team showed up when promised, paid attention to feeding instructions, and took extra time to play with and comfort my cat while I was away. They provided a photo and visit feedback promptly. My apartment was always left secure and clean, and my cat was happy, healthy, and loved while I was gone.
I will certainly recommend Alexandria Pet Care to anyone in need of someone to watch over their furkids!

The Alexandria Pet Care team are amazing! I've been working with them for several years now, as they are the best to care for my two kitties when I'm not there.
